Liam is 5 months old!!!

Our little Liam is officially five months old! What a fantastic five it has been! Liam, it would be impossible to put into words just how happy you and your brother make us!  Being able to watch you both learn and grow has been the most rewarding experience of our lives! Just when we begin to think things couldn't get any better (or cuter), they do!

Look how sweet you are!

 

You are getting so big! You used to be the same size as Monkey!

 

Here's some of what you have been up to this month:

• You are beginning to love tummy time!! You roll all over the floor and have a good 'ol time! :)
• You giggle, squeal, and crack up laughing all the time! It is music to my ears! LOVE it!!!
• You reach for objects... especially the remote controls!
• You smile back when someone smiles at you.
• You hold toys and objects.
• You work to get things out of reach.
• You look for toys that you drop.
• You look around for us when you hear our voice! :)
• You roll over both ways.
• You LOVE to talk! You babble, coo, and voice your opinions all day long! :)
• Boy oh boy are you teething!!! That's right... drool, fussiness, and lots of chewing! Poor lil guy!
• You are a milk-a-holic, of course!
• You will be starting solids next month! I can't believe how big you are getting!  I'm kind of glad though because I'm barely making enough milk for you, so those extra solids will help fill you up! :)  Luckily I have a HUGE freezer stash of milk for you!
• You sleep great at night!  You sleep all night and sometimes even sleep in longer than your brother!
• However, during the day is a different story! You cat nap all day long and don't want to take a "real" nap! We're working on that one!
• You are the sweetest, happiest, and most adorable baby we know!  We love you to pieces!

You absolutely LOVE your exersaucer.  You think you are big stuff in it!

 

You roll all over the place! You are always on the move!

 

You discovered that you have toes this month!!!  You are trying really hard to eat them, but haven't gotten them to your mouth quite yet! :)

You love it when your big brother gives you goodnight kisses each night before bed!

It is the sweetest thing ever! It absolutely melts your momma's heart!

 

You are teething! How do we know? Well, you drool constantly and EVERYTHING goes straight to your mouth!

You love reading books with momma and you love chewing on the books too! :)

 

You are trying to sit up all by yourself! WHAT?!?! You are too little for that! You are supposed to be my BABY!

 

 

 WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH LIL LIAM!  We can't wait to see what you have in store for us next! We cherish every moment we get to spend with you and you have brightened our world so much!  We love you to the moon and back times infinity! 

 

26 months!!!

Connor James is 26 months old!!! My, how time flies when you're having fun!  And that's exactly what we do with you, Connor!  We have so much fun!  You keep us entertained and on our toes, that's for sure!  Being a parent to a energetic two year old is definitely the most challenging and rewarding job at the same time, and we love every second of it!!  We have become pros at having no sleep! haha! ;)  Oh, if only we could have just an ounce of your energy! :)

You're about 4 1/2 months old in this picture.  You have the best smile! :)

Here's a few of the things you're up to this month:

• You took your first nap out of a crib this month!  You were such a big boy too! You went down for your nap no problem and have been napping out of your crib, like a big boy, everyday since!!!
• You have been eating out of your highchair this month too!  You LOVE to sit at your little table and eat your meals!  Its the perfect size for you too!
• You took your first nap WITHOUT a pacifier this week! In fact, you have take two naps in a row without a paci!!!! THIS IS HUGE!!!
• You are talking A LOT! You have started using 2 and 3 word sentences and repeat EVERYTHING! You absolutely amaze me everyday with how much your vocabulary is expanding!!!  You are such a big boy!
• You are Mr. Independent! You don't like for us to carry you anymore.  You hold our hand and walk next to us 100% of the time now. :)
• You started pre-school this month and LOVE it!!!
• You are the sweetest toddler we know! You have started coming up and giving us kisses and hugs for no reason! It absolutely melts momma's heart when you come up and give your little brother kisses before you are off to bed!
• You are a blankie hoarder.  That's right, you think you need to carry at least 3 blankies with you all over the house, where ever you go!
• You don't like being cooped up in the house for too long.  When you feel like we've been home too long, you bring daddy his hat and keys and tell him its time to go bye-bye! LOL
• Your new favorite hang-out is on Momma & Daddy's bed!  You carry your 3 blankies and all your stuffed animals into our room and camp out on our bed! You play in there for hours!
• You are OBSESSED with turning the lights on and off!  You always make sure to tell us, "On" and "Off" as you flip the switch! lol Stinker!
• You think you MUST point out letters and numbers on everything!  You're so smart!!! :) 

 

We love you so much Connor! You are such a blessing and are a great role-model for Liam!  Nothing makes us happier than being able to watch you learn and grow day after day!  We can never get enough of you!  God has blessed us so much and we will be forever grateful! We love you to the moon and back times infinity!

Happy Birthday to my big sister, Jennifer!

Today would have been her 43rd birthday.

 

Our first picture together on the day I was born!

 

There are so many things I loved about her... and miss!  She had the most beautiful singing voice. She was beautiful inside and out.  She was selfless.  She was a great person.  She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  I promise to post more about her so my boys can read and learn about her when they grow up! :) There isn't a single day that goes by that I don't think about her and wish for her to be here with us.  She would have been so excited to have all these sweet little nephews and it absolutely breaks my heart to know that my boys will never be able to spend time with her here on this earth.

1/3 of a year already!!!

I just need to say how much I LOVE the montly onesie stickers!  Whoever came up with this idea is a genius in my book! I am soooooooo excited to see the finished product... 13 pictures that document my little man's growth from birth to age 1!  (Not that I'm wishing away time...lol) It is just going to be the neatest thing for him to have and to show his own kids one day! I just LOVE it!  So, since I absolutely can't wait... here is the first 1/3 of Liam Andrew's life:

 

 

 

 

 

His little smile is just the best thing ever!!!  After his first photos as a newborn, I thought it might be kind of hard to see how much he's grown each month in photos... so that's where the monkey comes in! :) I also take his picture next to a stuffed monkey so we can see just how big he's getting each month!!! :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 I have always thought these monthly onesies would be the neatest baby shower gift!  It is definitely something completely different and unique from your average registry gift and is so personal too! What better than a gift that encourages monthly pics of your sweet little one!?!?  LOVE!

Little Liam is 4 months old!!!

My sweet little baby is growing up so fast!!  Look how much you've grown:

Here's what you've been up to the past month:

• You can hold your head steady when upright!
• In fact, you love sitting in your bumbo seat and watching your big brother! :)
• When you are on your belly, you can raise your chest and support yourself on your arms!
• You can roll over... Both ways!!!
• You can hold toys...you usually try to eat them too!
• You are a big milk-a-holic! You want to eat like its going out of style!
• You are 15 pounds even and 25 1/2 inches long.
• You are wearing 3-6 month clothing still.
• You can squeal...and scream...and yell! lol! You've really discovered your voice!!
• You can reach for objects.
• You sleep all night and take lots of naps! You cat nap through the morning and take one big afternoon nap!
• Most days you sleep in longer than your older brother!!! lol
• You are such a happy baby, always smiling and laughing!!!
• You smile spontaneously and you smile back at us when we smile first  :)
• You love for us to hold you up in a standing position.
• You blow raspberries (bubbles) all the time!!
• You turn in the direction of voices you recognize.
• You can see a lot farther now.  When you see me coming from across the room, you smile at me real big!! :)

My Sweet Connor...

...is already 25 months old! What a 25 months it has been! My sweet baby, you surprise and amaze me everyday! Sometimes I really do have a difficult time digesting the fact that you will continue to learn and grow and will need your momma less and less! You are becoming quite the little man and I absolutely can't get enough of you!!! Here are 25 things I absolutely love about you:

1.  You have the best laugh!
2. You run up and give surprise hugs then run off!
3. You love to help!
4. For example, you spilled a little of your milk on the floor so went and got a dish towel out of the drawer and wiped it up!! So cute!
5. When you hear music sometimes you spontaneously bust a move! :)
6. You are a smarty pants!!
7. You can count to 10.
8. You know all of the alphabet... Upper and lowercase! :)
9. You point out letters you see on everything!!!
10. You love Elmo!
11. You have started asking for your cousin Tyler by name.
12. You say,"Bless you!" when someone sneezes.
13.  You love to read books with us.
14.  In fact, YOU read many of them to us!
15. You love to play outside.
16. You are a daddy's boy!
17. You are a bundle of energy!!!
18.  You are learning how to share and play with other children and I love it!!!

We love you so much, Connor!!! We say all the time how blessed we are to be your parents! God really blessed our lives when he gave us you and we are forever in his debt. We pray everyday that he will guide us in our journey as your parents. We love you so much... To the moon and back a million times over!

We know how to PARTY!!!!!!!!!

We had a small family party to celebrate our sweet Bubby turning 2!!! Of course, it was Elmo themed! :)

Tyler loved the sandbox!  Connor saw that the sandbox was red and had big white eyes so he kept pointing to it and saying, "ELMO!!!"  (It's actually a crab!) LOL :)

We also enjoyed the pool!!!  My little water baby is so cute!

After swimming we ate YUMMY Elmo cake!!!

Only we could have a party that required 2 baths! LOL
