Little Liam is 4 months old!!!

Can you believe this was 4 months ago???

 

 

My sweet little baby is growing up so fast!!  Look how much you've grown:

 

 

You used to be the same size as Monkey but now you sure have passed him up!!!

 

 

Here's what you've been up to the past month:

• You can hold your head steady when upright!
• In fact, you love sitting in your bumbo seat and watching your big brother! :)
• When you are on your belly, you can raise your chest and support yourself on your arms!
• You can roll over... Both ways!!!
• You can hold toys...you usually try to eat them too!
• You are a big milk-a-holic! You want to eat like its going out of style!
• You are 15 pounds even and 25 1/2 inches long.
• You are wearing 3-6 month clothing still.
• You can squeal...and scream...and yell! lol! You've really discovered your voice!!
• You can reach for objects.
• You sleep all night and take lots of naps! You cat nap through the morning and take one big afternoon nap!
• Most days you sleep in longer than your older brother!!! lol
• You are such a happy baby, always smiling and laughing!!!
• You smile spontaneously and you smile back at us when we smile first  :)
• You love for us to hold you up in a standing position.
• You blow raspberries (bubbles) all the time!!
• You turn in the direction of voices you recognize.
• You can see a lot farther now.  When you see me coming from across the room, you smile at me real big!! :)

We love you to the moon and back a million times over!!! We love watching you learn and grow each month and can't wait to see what you have in store for us next! You are such a blessing in our lives and we are so lucky to be your parents!

My Sweet Connor...

...is already 25 months old! What a 25 months it has been! My sweet baby, you surprise and amaze me everyday! Sometimes I really do have a difficult time digesting the fact that you will continue to learn and grow and will need your momma less and less! You are becoming quite the little man and I absolutely can't get enough of you!!! Here are 25 things I absolutely love about you:

1.  You have the best laugh!
2. You run up and give surprise hugs then run off!
3. You love to help!
4. For example, you spilled a little of your milk on the floor so went and got a dish towel out of the drawer and wiped it up!! So cute!
5. When you hear music sometimes you spontaneously bust a move! :)
6. You are a smarty pants!!
7. You can count to 10.
8. You know all of the alphabet... Upper and lowercase! :)
9. You point out letters you see on everything!!!
10. You love Elmo!
11. You have started asking for your cousin Tyler by name.
12. You say,"Bless you!" when someone sneezes.
13.  You love to read books with us.
14.  In fact, YOU read many of them to us!
15. You love to play outside.
16. You are a daddy's boy!
17. You are a bundle of energy!!!
18.  You are learning how to share and play with other children and I love it!!!
19. You love watching Super Why!
20.  You hold my hand and walk with me when you get out of the car! :)
21. You say, "Mwah!" when you give us kisses! LOL
22.  You love your little brother! You come check on him and make sure he has his paci!
23.  You love building with blocks!
24.  You are absolutely obsessed with the light switches!!! LOL
25.  Your favorite song to sing is Jesus Loves Me!!

We love you so much, Connor!!! We say all the time how blessed we are to be your parents! God really blessed our lives when he gave us you and we are forever in his debt. We pray everyday that he will guide us in our journey as your parents. We love you so much... To the moon and back a million times over!

We know how to PARTY!!!!!!!!!

We had a small family party to celebrate our sweet Bubby turning 2!!! Of course, it was Elmo themed! :)

Our party continued out side with Connor's birthday present from Momma and Daddy:

a sand box!!!

Tyler loved the sandbox!  Connor saw that the sandbox was red and had big white eyes so he kept pointing to it and saying, "ELMO!!!"  (It's actually a crab!) LOL :)

We also enjoyed the pool!!!  My little water baby is so cute!

After swimming we ate YUMMY Elmo cake!!!

Only we could have a party that required 2 baths! LOL

That's right! My little baby boy is growing like a weed!!!  Look how much you've grown Liam:

3 months old!!! Already 1/4 of a year old!!!

I LOVE these pictures of you and your stuffed monkey together because we can see how much you've really grown!  Look how much you've grown in just the last month!!

Such a big, sweet boy!

There is so much to tell you about all that you are doing now!  It seems like you are doing something new everyday!!!  Here are the biggies we want to remember about your 3rd month :)

• You can grasp objects with your hand and hold them.
• You can put your hands together like you are clapping.
• You smile ALL THE TIME! It is unbelievably sweet!
• You giggle! :)
• You love to be moving!  You love to sit in your bouncy and swing.  You also like for us to bounce you on our knee!  Those little legs of yours just kick and kick all day!!!
• You LOVE to eat.  You are a milk-a-holic, of course.  You eat about 6 to 8 times a day.  I don't know how I'm able to keep up with you, Mr. Chunkers!
• You sleep ALL night, take a big 2-3 hour nap each afternoon and have a few little cat naps here and there.
• You are officially wearing 3-6 month clothing and also moved up to size 2 diapers! Big boy!!!
• You are a Momma's boy!  You love to be held and cuddled by momma!
• You have discovered you can make raspberries! (Wet razzing sound with your mouth) LOL
• You talk! (or babble!)
• You can hold your head up on your own when you are put in a seated position.
• You can hold your head up when you are on your tummy.
• You can follow people and objects with your eyes.
• You can turn in the direction of a voice.
• You have started sitting in your Bumbo and LOVE being able to look around at what's going on!

24 things we love about our 24 month old!

Connor James is officially 2 years old!  I say every month that time sure has flown by, and it really has! I can't believe that we are celebrating 24 months with our beautiful baby boy!

And just look at you now!  You are such a sweet and handsome 2 year old!

You sure do keep us entertained! You are a bundle of energy and we love every moment we get to spend with you!  Here are 24 things we want to remember about you at this age:

1. You give surprise hugs! You run up to us and hug us real quick, then run off!  It is the sweetest thing ever!
2. You have discovered that you can reach the light switches.
3. You have learned what "on" and "off" means thanks to your discovery of the light switches.
4. You are a blankie hoarder.  You think you need to carry around ALL of your blankets ALL of the time.
5. You are a paci-a-holic.  So we have weaned you back to only getting a paci at nap time and bed time.  Pretty soon, those will go too!  You're getting so big!





6. You have found a new hiding place.  You fit perfectly between the bookcase and the TV console. LOL





7. You are into patterns and organizing! LOL  See: 



8. You love to wrestle with your daddy.
9. You think your papaw is the best!  You bring me the phone and say, "Papaw!" to tell me to call him.
10. You have figured out where Mamaw and Papaw live because you scream when we drive past their road and don't stop! LOL
11. You have started giving your little brother, Liam, kisses! It is unbelievably sweet!
12. You love your kiddie pool and have really enjoyed playing in the sun this summer! 



13. You have discovered Happy Meals from McDonald's and think they are AWESOME!  I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing!
14. You love to read... in fact, we read together constantly! I love it!!
15. You definitely still love your technology, especially the ipad!  You only get it in moderation, of course!
16. You are a big fan of Super Why and Sesame Street!
17. You LOVE granola bars!!!
18. You love to go bye-bye! You don't care where to, you just want to go! LOL
19. You have started walking to and from the car.  You hold our hand and walk with us like a big boy!!!
20. You went to your first movie in the theatre this month! We saw Ice Age 3 on your birthday!  You LOVED the experience!!! We didn't make it through the whole movie, but we thought you did an excellent job for it being your first movie!!!



21. You are a helper! You love to help us, no matter the task.  You help load and unload the washer and dryer, you help pick up toys, you turn off the TV or the lights for us when we ask! You are so sweet!
22. When we ask you to give us kisses sometimes you do, and sometimes you just lean over so we can give you a kiss on the forehead! You are such a stinker! lol
23. You think you need to sit in all of Liam's seats! LOL  You try to sit in his bouncy seat, bumbo, car seat, and swing! Silly boy!
24. You are counting things!  When you put objects in front of you, you count them! 1, 2, 3...  Such a smart boy!

We can't believe how time has flown and that our baby is now our 2 year old!  We love you so much and enjoy watching you learn and grow each and every day!  You make every day an adventure and we can wait to see what year 3 brings!  We love you to the moon and back a million times over!
